Hello visitor ! Thank you for taking the time to come to my site.
If you are reading these lines, you probably want to know more about me.
My name is Aurélien Foutoyet, I am a 29 year old French web designer living in Marseille, southern France. I became freelance in 2011 after having worked more than 3 years for Buongiorno, the world's No.1 company in mobile entertainment and market leader in Europe and Latin America.
With this experience, I am able to design and build web/mobile systems that solve communication problems. I am very demanding of myself - a perfectionist. I am always seeking knowledge through each new project, through books, articles on the web or discussions with people of the industry.
I attach great importance to semantic code and w3c standards. I try to put typography at the center of the design process and I agree with Louis Sullivan's adage "Form Follows Function". I work on Mac and pc (although I have a strong preference for my great mac book pro). My main tools are Photoshop and Coda.

Peax02
Design made for Peaxl in which I had 2 constraints : a specific 2 columns layout and responsiveness. For the rest : a mix beetween wood and paper textures and a focus on legibility thanks to the power of typography.
Tumbdesk
Tumbdesk is a new Tumblr theme handcrafted with love. At this time the theme has not been developped yet but I hope to find some time to make it works. The design have been thought to fit the Tumblr platform possibilities…
Ubiquity
Ubiquity is a theme designed and developed especially for Tumblr platform. I wanted to test myself on a grungy but modern look’n feel and push my limits on the dev part with a huge bunch of options in the Tumblr admin panel : social networks, Flickr, custom links, Twitter feed etc.
Beautiful Type
Beautiful Type is a Tumblr blog made in collaboration with the web designer Francis Chouquet. The aim were to create a place to share our common passion for typography : illustrations, books, links. Click the “More details” link to read more about this project.
